In 2010 Anne was presented with “Canada’s Most Powerful Women: Top 100” Award. This is Canada’s most recognizable award for the country’s highest achieving female leaders in the private, public and not-for-profit sectors. Anne’s nomination was evaluated according to the following criteria: management role, vision and leadership, corporate performance, and community service.
United Van Lines is Canada’s largest network of moving companies with over 125 offices across the country, and is the only Canadian van line that is 100% co-operatively owned and operated by its members. Over the last four years of Anne’s tenure, United Van Lines achieved the highest return of profit to Shareholders in the company’s 64 year history and was a recipient of 2017 and 2018 Canadian Business Excellence Awards for Private Businesses for the company’s 2016 and 2017 accomplishments.
United Van Lines was also named one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies for seven years in a row under Anne’s leadership. First recognized in 2009, United went on to achieve gold status and then platinum status in both 2015 and 2016 – the highest level in what is considered the leading business awards program for Canadian owned and managed companies with revenues over $15 million.
A visionary leader; Anne was instrumental in launching United Van Line’s international moving division – MoverOne International – which provides service to over 160 countries through a worldwide network of over 1000 overseas partners.
Anne is a graduate of the University of Toronto. She was a Charter Member of the Rotary Club of Mississauga City Centre and served as President and District Governors Representative. Anne also previously served as Chair of the Canadian Employee Relocation Council.

As a Member of CEO Global Network, I am exposed to a “brain trust” beyond that of myself and my management team alone. Because of this, I am able to look at challenges from multiple angles that would likely not have been considered prior to being a Member. Dale Armstrong – CEO, Armstrong International Movers
