Ian brings a solid background of entrepreneurship and business leadership experience to CEO Global Network, having held senior positions with both start-up and established firms including Hamilton Hydro Services Inc., Toronto Hydro Telecom, Cogeco Data Services, and Atria Networks. Most recently, as President and COO of Atria Networks, Ian provided exceptional leadership and technical strategy to the telecommunications provider, and was part of the senior management team that sold the company to Rogers Communications in 2011 for $425M.
As Vice President of Hamilton Hydro Services Inc., Ian built a Fibre Optic network from an idea into a telecommunications business unit which he led as President and grew to $7.6M in revenue over a five-year period. Ian also served as VP of Operations for Toronto Hydro Telecom and actively participated in all aspects of its sale to Cogeco Cable in 2008 for $200M. Ian then led the integration of Toronto Hydro Telecom into Cogeco, and negotiated three large multimillion dollar public sector contracts on behalf of Cogeco Data Services while serving as Acting President.
Ian continues to participate on various Advisory Boards of technology–based companies and as Technology Advisor to Birch Hill Equity Partners on various acquisitions or divestitures. He has a diploma in Business Administration from Wilfred Laurier University and a Bachelor of Engineering, Electrical from McMaster University.
In addition to spearheading our Entrepreneur to Enterprise (E2E) Group Program, Ian is Chief Operating Officer of CEO Global Network and co-owner of Henderson Property Management in Oakville, Ontario.
