Our Advisory Board
The purpose of the CEO Global Network Advisory Board is to provide a forum where our company leadership can be challenged. This ensures we are always looking to the future and to the improvement of our organization. The Board is comprised of a diverse and highly-experienced group of CEOs and Presidents who have vast experience in most business segments, and who share our values. The Board is also involved in the selection our CEO Group Leaders.
Retired CEO, Diageo Canada Inc.
Rick served as Chairman of Diageo Canada from 2006 to 2008 and before that as President and CEO since 1998, with the merger of United Distillers Canada and Gilbey’s Canada. Rick currently sits on various boards.
Chief Operating Officer, Buildings, PCL Constructors Canada Inc.
As chief operating officer for PCL’s Buildings Group, Chris is responsible for the performance of the organization’s Buildings operations across all borders and also serves PCL’s Canadian Buildings clients and partners who access markets outside of Canada to ensure continuity with all PCL operations. Chris is a member of PCL’s Office of the CEO, a group that includes the top senior executive management and leadership of PCL. He is a recipient of numerous awards, including PCL’s prestigious Robert Stollery Leadership Award (2000) and in 2009 Chris was recognized as one of Canada’s Top 40 under 40™ leaders.
Retired Vice President, Gordon Food Service Canada Company Inc.
Jim recently became a CEO Global Network CEO Group Leader after retiring from Gordon Food Service (GFS) where he was responsible for their entire Canadian operation. Prior to that, Jim served as President of GFS Ontario and managed the company’s Eastern Canada division. GFS primarily operates in the US and Canada. It is the second largest foodservice distributor in Canada, and a giant in the US industry, employing over 7,000 people.
Sr. Director Sales, Apple Inc.
Wendy is a senior executive with significant experience managing complex organizations within the technology sector. Her career has spanned sales, marketing, distribution and general management. She returned to her position of Senior Managing Director for Apple Canada – a leading subsidiary of Apple Inc. – in 2011 after a brief retirement, having previously held the position for well over a decade.
Hugh L. MacKinnon
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Bennett Jones LLP.
Hugh MacKinnon is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Bennett Jones and a member of the firm’s Partnership Board.
Hugh had previously maintained an active corporate commercial practice in Calgary and Toronto.
Hugh is Chair of the Board of the C.D. Howe Institute, Chair of the Board of the Ontario Brain Institute, Co-Chair of the Canada Institute Advisory Board of the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars in Washington D.C. and Chair of the Advisory Board of Canada’s Outstanding CEO of the Year. His memberships include a number of social, professional and business organizations. He is a member of the Law Societies of Upper Canada, Alberta and England and Wales.
Carolyn Robertson, MD
Founder, President and CEO, The Centre for CEO Enrichment Inc.
Dr. Robertson is an acclaimed psychiatrist specializing in leadership issues, specifically in the understanding of the ‘CEO Brain’. Dr. Robertson helps CEOs and Executives from some of Canada’s leading companies gain a higher level of self knowledge so that they can more successfully lead their companies and live their personal lives.
