Steve had a very successful 38-year career with Weston Forest Products where he was the President & CEO from 2016 to 2026. Under Steve’s leadership, Weston saw rapid growth, made multiple acquisitions and received numerous awards. 

Steve’s journey began with Weston Forest Products in 1987 as a teenager piling lumber in the mill. He went on to hold management roles in every part of the company, including turns as Mill Manager, Night Shift Supervisor, Hardwood Product Manager, US Sales Manager, Vice President of Finance & Operations, and as President & CEO. From those early days to the Executive office, he led with a relentless drive to learn, and a deep belief in the power of people.

He is a life-long learner who has participated in CEO peer groups for many years, and has been a Member of CEO Global Network since 2019.

He served as the Chair of the Mississauga Board of Trade from December 2022 – December 2023

Steve and his wife Ann, live in Caledon, Ontario with their two children.
