Tim Hardman

Tim is a strategic business leader with broad experience across a range of industries including distribution, military, automotive, aerospace and architecture. He has an established track record of generating accelerated growth and transforming businesses on an international scale in both the private and public sectors through the development of effective leadership teams and operational best practices.

Most recently, Tim concurrently served as President of Canadian operations and Managing Director of Northwest USA for Castle Metals – one of the world’s leading specialty steel distributors. Tim was responsible for the completion of a 3-year strategic growth plan which involved re-engineering sales, supply chain and operational performance.

Previously Tim held the positions of President of Cymat Technologies – a TSX listed company, and Vice President Sales & Marketing at Comtek Advanced Structures Inc.

Tim was also a Mentor with Innovation Factory in Hamilton for 5 years, and has been a Guest Speaker for the MBA programmes at both McMaster University and the University of Waterloo.

Susie Halasz

Susie is an accomplished executive with more than 25 years of experience in senior leadership positions in sales, marketing, finance, corporate restructuring, and operations, with start-ups to global multi-billion-dollar public and private companies.  

Susie is a Certified Sales Leader and the President and Founder of Elevated Results Inc. a company focused on SMB’s by providing fractional sales leadership, building robust sales infrastructures including sales strategy, sales processes, sales methodology, sales playbooks, compensation plans, training, coaching and execution.

She is also a Certified Emotional Intelligence Coach, which truly enables her to bring the best out of each salesperson, team member and business leader.

Prior to founding Elevated Results Inc., Susie was the Vice President, Sales and Marketing for Day & Ross. Prior to Day & Ross, she was the Vice President of Enterprise Solutions with Protiviti (a global multi-billion-dollar consulting firm and subsidiary of Robert Half). Her experience ranges across a variety of industries including professional services, franchise, transportation and logistics, healthcare, higher education, financial services, life science, construction, real estate and manufacturing.

Susie, her husband Peter and their son and daughter live in Oakville.  They love to travel and, in the summer, enjoy boating and being members of the Oakville Power Boat Club.

Tom Gunter

Tom has held senior leadership positions with ConAgra Foods, PepsiCo/Frito-Lay, Molson Coors and Fiera Foods. With over 35 years in the food and consumer packaged goods industries, Tom has a deep understanding of the Canadian retail and manufacturing sectors and extensive hands-on experience in acquisitions and integration, product and business development, change management and organizational redesign. He is also a skilled business advisor and executive mentor, with a focus on growth strategies, people development and customer management.

Tom joined ConAgra Foods Canada as Vice President, Sales in 2004. Four years later he was named President, and over the next six years he successfully reset the organization’s growth strategy, launched the Healthy Choice and Orville Redenbacher Ready-to-Eat brands in Canada and managed the acquisition and integration of Del Monte Canada.

Most recently, Tom spent four years as Executive VP and General Manager of the Fiera Foods, Upper Crust and Bakery Deluxe bakery alliance—a private, family-owned group of commercial bakeries that service the North American market from four production facilities.

An accomplished sales leader, Tom has also headed large sales organizations in both the Canadian and U.S. markets as Vice President, Customer Development – Canada for PepsiCo, and Vice President, Sales for Molson Coors.

Tom is an active Board member and has served as Chair of the Board for the Grocery Foundation—an NFP that supports children’s breakfast programs and Kids Help Phone—since October 2017. He is also currently a Board Advisor to Burnbrae Farms, and actively advises several other private companies, while offering consulting support to the grocery industry. Previously, Tom served as Chair of the Board for Food & Consumer Products of Canada.

Tom has a Bachelor of Business Administration from Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University).

Michael Grochmal

Michael Grochmal

Director of Culture

A Founding Member of CEO Global Network, Michael is a life-long learner who also personifies our other core values of empathy, respect, integrity and honesty, confidentiality, and quality over quantity.

Michael is passionate about helping us grow our membership and achieve our vision. As Director of Culture, Michael will be primarily responsible for increasing our qualified leads while working closely with Group Leaders to add Members to their Groups. Michael will also create opportunities for Members to network with one another and will meet with them one-on-one to ensure we are delivering on our CEO Global Network promise to “significantly improve their success.”

A graduate of Bishop’s University, Michael was President of AtlasCare until the sale of the company last year. During his time as President, the company experienced steady growth while continuing to win awards for their exceptional customer service. In 2020, AtlasCare was awarded the RBC Large Business of the Year award in Oakville.

Michael currently sits on the Board of Directors of Easter Seals Ontario and has raised over $500,000 for the MS Society.

Michael lives in Oakville with his wife Sophia and their 3 children: Philip, Christopher and Jennifer.

Tony Grilli

Before joining CEO Global Network as a Group Leader, Tony enjoyed a very successful 30-year career with a Fortune 50 Company—United Technologies, specifically Otis Elevator Company. Tony has expertise in multi-national operations and a proven track record of driving initiatives to achieve key business metrics and corporate objectives. With a focus on customer service, sales, operations, finance, employee development, business development and strategic planning, Tony has demonstrated excellence in leadership throughout his career.

As President of Otis Canada Inc. from 2004 to 2018, Tony provided strategic direction and operational management to branches employing over 1000 people across Canada. During his tenure as President, Tony also served as a board member and was elected President and Chair of the National Elevator and Escalator Association—leading a national, multi-employer bargaining association in negotiations with the International Union of Elevator Constructors.

Tony began his management career with Otis in 1995 and progressed rapidly up the corporate ladder. After only one year as a Regional Sales Manager, Tony was promoted to Toronto General Manager in 1996 and then Regional General Manager, Central Canada in 1998. In 2001, Tony was appointed to the executive leadership team as Vice President of Business Development North America Operations, a position based in Connecticut—home of the Otis Elevator Co. world headquarters. While in this role, Tony was responsible for the acquisition of 40 companies across North America. Tony returned to Canada in 2004 when he was named President of Otis Canada Inc. and became a member of the Otis Americas Executive Board.

Tony has a Master of Business Administration from Purdue University and a Bachelor of Commerce from McMaster University.

Tony will be leading a CEO Group in the Hamilton/Burlington region and looks forward to leveraging his insight and experience to help other CEOs achieve greater business and personal success.

Jim Greenwood

Jim brings outstanding business and leadership experience to CEO Global Network after a long and successful career in the food distribution business.

After 12 years spent growing and running his family-owned frozen food distribution company, Jim successfully merged the business with Gordon Food Service (GFS) in 1996. Following a ten-year partnership in the Ontario market, Jim subsequently sold his shares to GFS but stayed with the company in a senior leadership capacity. When he retired from corporate life in November of 2011, Jim was Vice President of GFS Canada and fully responsible for GFS’s Canadian distribution business.

Jim believes that people and strategy are what make the difference in business, and has worked with us since 2011 to help CEOs become better at these two key business opportunities.
